Wanted: Kiehl’s New Year collection, created in collaboration with artist Maite Franchi

In the Wanted section, we share the novelties from the world of beauty that you want to get right now. Today on our wishlist is the Kiehl’s Christmas collection, created in collaboration with Lyon-based illustrator Maite Franchi. The collaboration includes best-selling skin care products: a nourishing body cream, a night revitalizing face concentrate, a lip balm stick, a moisturizing face cream, a fragrant body soap and tonic with calendula extract, and an Advent calendar.

In December, a limited edition collection of Kiehl’s skin care products in cute packaging featuring drawings by French artist Maite Franchi is in charge of the festive mood. The illustrator was inspired by the family pharmacy located on the corner of 13th and 3rd streets in New York, which began the history of the brand in 1851. The characters in the illustrations are packing gifts, dancing merrily, taking selfies on the famous motorcycle (the founder of the brand collected vintage motorcycles) and celebrating Christmas.

Also this year, Kiehl’s holiday collection can be safely called the “greenest” of all time: all packaging is made from recyclable materials, even Advent calendars are now made from recycled paper and without the use of plastic.

Whipped body cream Creme de Corps Whipped Body Butter Soy Milk & Honey (3 360 rubles)

This cream looks more like heavy whipped cream. Despite its rich “winter” texture, it is quickly absorbed, moisturizing the skin and leaving a light, delicate aroma of shea butter, soy milk and honey.

Night restoring concentrate Midnight Recovery Concentrate (5 600 rubles)

The bestselling facial concentrate is 99.8% composed of plant extracts and essential oils that promise smoother, more radiant skin overnight. The product, which has won more than 50 international awards in the cosmetic industry, contains squalane, night primrose oil, geranium, lavender and rosehip oil.

The signature blue bottle is adorned with whimsical images especially for the holidays.

Moisturizing face cream Ultra Facial Cream (2 490 rubles.)

The world’s best-selling face cream, Kiehl’s, is not at all afraid of the harsh winter cold, so its owner’s skin will be reliably protected even in January and February. It has been scientifically proven to provide 24-hour hydration even under the most extreme conditions.

The formula is enriched with a complex of nourishing and moisturizing ingredients: squalane and antarcticine. Like the rest of the collection, the jar and lid are adorned with elegant geometric shapes painted by Maite Franchi.

Lip Balm Stick Butterstick Lip Treatment SPF 30 (1 740 RUB.)

Prepare your lips for holiday kisses with a moisturizing balm stick with coconut oil and lemon oil. These ingredients soften and moisturize the skin. There are two balms to choose from: colorless and in the pale pink shade Simply Rose.

Body soap with grapefruit scent Grapefruit Bar Soap (1,500 rubles)

It is both a soap and a body scrub. Powdered apricot seed particles gently exfoliate dead skin cells, leaving skin feeling smooth and soft. You don’t have to worry about the feeling of dryness and tightness that often occurs after using regular soap. Chamomile and aloe vera extract, which soothe and moisturize the skin, won’t do that.

Tonic with calendula extract Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol-Free Toner (3 190 rubles)

The alcohol-free calendula tonic looks especially attractive this year. But its composition and properties remained the same (the original recipe appeared in the distant 1960s!). Inside, hand-picked calendula petals and burdock root extract, thanks to which the product gently cleanses, normalizes the natural balance and instantly tones all skin types.

Advent Calendar – Christmas set of 23 tools and Mr. Skeleton badge (already sold out)

But the traditional Advent calendar of the brand with a monthly supply of favorite products, which is now produced from completely recycled paper and without the use of plastic, managed to be bought back in November.
