According to the latest research, most modern women of fashion are ready to invest in bags of the Italian brand Gucci, decorated with animals and floral motifs.
The unique, always recognizable design and exclusive quality allowed the Fashion House to become the most popular this year among the younger generation. According to the Womens Wear Daily portal, in the first half of 2017, sales of Gucci bags increased by 595 percent compared to the same period a year ago.
This data is contrary to a study last year, according to which millennials pay more attention to quality and design, rather than brand names. Apparently, now the situation has changed and young people are starting to trust more than the impeccable reputation of famous brands.
“Millennials value luxury products much more, allowing them to join the brand’s aesthetics and, moreover, they can be combined with a wide variety of looks,” said Katy Smith, editor of Edited magazine, who participated in the new study.
In addition to Gucci, fashion brands Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana are recognized as youth favorites.
